Veganism; worth a try

Good afternoon, it's been a while to say the least!
Before you click off or decide not to read this post just hold one minute. I'm not trying to tell you veganism is the way forward and that everyone should go vegan, I just want to put my ideas out there and challenge you to try new things!

Teas to try

Whether it's early in the morning, midday or just before you go to bed, tea is always my answer. I am slightly obsessed with tea but the best part is tea's not unhealthy (unlike most things I'm obsessed with!). So here's my runthrough of the some of the non traditional teas out there.

Products to give a go

Recently theres been so many new launches but unfortunately for the last month I've been on a spending ban, and I hoping to do a post all about saving money and all that jazz soon. So as a result of this spending ban, I've been going back to old products and a few new-ish but still not too new products. Catchy.

Workout Plan

I know, it's Easter Monday we all feel like we should be working out, or eating chocolate. But today I decided to share my workout things with you for two reasons. 1 - some of you might have lost motivation since New Year and want new ideas, And 2 - if I post about it I'm more likely to stick to it.

The Peachy Pinks for Spring

It's finally Spring! I've very much looking forward to Spring although I'm not going to lie, I do wish we had some snow over the Winter. In terms of make up, in my opinion, Spring is the best. I mean who can not love glowy make up with everything peachy and pink.

Beauty Wish List #2

Do you know those makeup products that you swatch every time you're in boots but never pick up? Well theses are mine. They're the products I've never got round to trying or I've convinced myself I don't need, but anyhow they say on my wishlist. And I have no doubt I will find a good review of these products and then go out and convince myself I need them. So onto the products.

Oh the Joy of Monday #6

It's been a while hasn't it. So it's been more than six weeks since my last 'Oh the Joy of Monday' post but it's back and this time with a slightly different theme. I normally feature products that I've been enjoying on pamper evening but recently on 'pamper evenings' or just evening where I have a bit of spare time to myself, instead of cracking out the face mask and the nail polish, it'll be more a mental 'pamper' than physical.

Little Must Do's

Before I was really into makeup my skincare routine was really bad, as in it didn't exist. I know we can all be lazy with our skincare routines but I just didn't even know how important treating your skin right was. So I here's the post about my 'must do's' that I've now put into my daily and weekly routine.

February Favourites

And it's March already! February's been a very quick month but a good month for makeup, maybe bad for the bank account but I've enjoyed it at least! January was a pretty good month on the blog, I had a bit of a redesign (hope you're enjoying it) and if you follow me on twitter you would have probably seen me stress out when I completely messed up the html coding, but let's not dwell on that. On to the favourites.

Real Technique Nic's Picks - Giveaway

Hello, today I bring you a giveaway and a small review! I was going to claim this was a late giveaway for achieving 200 followers on bloglovin, but I didn't really plan this. Although I am very grateful for reaching 200 followers, thank you. But I saw this set in my Superdrug the other day and I hadn't done a giveaway for a while so I decided to pick them up as a thank you.

Project Pan #1

If you follow me on twitter you'll know, as I've tweeted quite a few times about it, that I've recently been obsessed with 'projectpan' tag on instagram. I think most beauty lovers will admit that finishing off products is one of the most satisfying things ever. So I've decided I'm going to start a project pan post on my blog which I'll hopefully update ever so often!

Spring is coming.

When I think 'Spring' make up, the first few words that come to mind are dewy, fresh and bright, which to be fair is always a good look all year round. But product launches in spring are usually aimed towards a dewy look. So here are my favourites this year!

The Blue Liner Edit

Eyeliner is one of the first beauty items I tried out and played with, so eyeliner is definitely nothing new to be, even though you wouldn't be able to tell by how I do winged eyeliner. Black and brown is about as exciting as my liner usually gets until recently. Navy eyeliners are definitely becoming the new 'thing' when it comes to liners so I thought I would give some a try.

No.7 BB Lips

I saw the No.7 BB lips in Boots the other day and my first thought was 'ooh, a potential dupe for the Clarin's lip perfector!' And I swatched a few of the shades but convinced myself I didn't need them but long story short I now have one, so my self control needs improvement.

The Porefessional. Worth the Hype?

I'm really excited to write this because, spoiler alert, it's a good one! I was in boots the other day just doing the normal browsing that happens far too often and I stumbled over a whole self of Benefit Christmas Gift sets. I had briefly looked at the gift sets before Christmas and none of them really caught me. But then I found their 'Prime Time' set for £10, which was an amazing deal. You get a full sized Porefessional and a mini, but still decently sized, moisturiser.

Skin Saviour #1

Whenever a new year comes around I always feel like redoing my whole skincare routine, which then leads to far too many impulse buys in boots. And the Soap&Glory No Clogs Allowed face mask was definitely one of my many impulse buys but it was a good one. I think this is going to become one of my holy grail skincare products pretty quickly!

The Dolce Vita

This palette is one of the most exciting purchases I've made for quite some time. In early January I had a trip planned to go to London, which happened and was really good, and one of the things I was determine to do while I was there was go to the Charlotte Tilbury counter. And I did. And it was fabulous.

Balms By Benefit

I'm not going to lie the thing that really drew me into the Bene- and Lolli balms by Benefit was the packaging. It's fricking adorable! I haven't heard an awful lot about these, I've heard a lot about the tints but these seemed to be something that are glossed over a lot more.

The Dark Glossy Lip I'm Not Scared Of

I'm actually really excited to write this post, manily because it's about something I would have never picked up myself. But turns out I fricking love it! My Mum, although not knowing about my blog, is very well aware of my love for make up and she always gets me a couple of make up items for Chirstmas. This year she got me the Colour Boost Lip Crayon by Bourjois in Plum Russian.

The Highstreet Neutrals

I'm not going to lie, I very rarely stray from neutral eye shadows. I sometimes go for some subtle purples but that's about as adventurous as it gets for eye shadow. Because of my lack of creativity with my eye make up, it means I have my fair share of neutral eye shadows. So I thought I'd share my top few highstreet ones with you!
